Adaptability Training Weekend
As fell runners we need to adapt to different terrain. Naturally we become quite good at coping with the conditions on our home ground that we run on regularly. However, if you travel to a new area to run or race you may find that different terrain and aggressiveness of a slope can really challenge or even frustrate you.
This course was a tailor made event organised for a group from Ireland, who felt their descending technique was in need of improvement, as well as their ability to move fast over rocky, 'bouldery' ground - terrain they don't get to practice on much where they commonly run.
