Want to test and improve your fitness or need assistance achieving a long held ambition to do a big mountain traverse?
There are several classic challenges in North Wales, most notably the Welsh 3000ers, and for fell runners, the Paddy Buckley Round.
We can provide navigation support, advice on route choice, advice on what to eat and wear as well as car support. If you are aiming to complete these challenges in a fast time, our fitness levels and experience in leg timing will ensure you reach that goal. We'll push you if you want us to!
Snowdonia Running Guides' own Iain Ridgway completed the Paddy Buckley Round in 2007 in the 6th fastest time ever recorded (21hr30min). Read about it on our blog. This challenge relies on a dedicated and experienced support team and holds a special place in Iain's heart. As such, in appreciation of the support he received, we provide free assistance for people attempting the Paddy Buckley challenge in under 24 hrs, however these must be genuine attempts based on adequate training and preparation.

"Awesome - Lung busting, legs on fire ascents, breath taking scenery, great sense of achievement - what a day, loved the challenge - will definitely be back for more. Sarah and Iain know this wilderness like the back of their hand. Thanks for a great time."
