learn how to mountain or fell run at night in Snowdonia

Short daylight hours doesn't mean you have to miss getting out for a run after work. Night running is an unforgettable experience.

Thursday night runs have ended until the clock changes at the end of the year - in the mean time, we organise evening runs on Wednesday nights throughout the summer, free for people that have run with us previously. Contact us for details.

Details:

In the winter of 2006, Iain Ridgway decided to organise Thursday evening mountain runs for friends as well as members of our local running club, Eryri. Despite the weather, a group of hardened fell runners would congregate at a chosen spot and decide on the option of a 'good weather' or 'bad weather' route.

The popularity of these night runs, and the memory of some unforgettable running in the mountains at full moon, has driven the continuation of the Thursday night run series.

The Thursday Night runs are free to experienced fell runners that have run with us previously. If you would like to get experience and learn how to run and navigate at night, give us a call or email.
