learn how to mountain or fell run in Snowdonia

If you are a road runner fed up with pounding the streets, or a hill walker wanting to cover ground faster, why not have a go at fell running.

Fell running, also known as mountain running and hill running, involves running and racing over upland country of varied terrain. The name arises from the origins of the English sport on the fells of northern Britain.

Fell running requires a reasonable level of fitness, and being a road runner helps, however when starting out on the fell, the terrain of grass, heather and rocky paths combined with often steep climbs and descents will take time and skill to adapt to.

To run safely in the fells, a runner needs to develop navigation and route planning skills as well as experience in knowing what to wear and eat. Let us teach you how to build fell running into your training - we promise you'll never look back!
