#1Email newsletters

We will only send you email newsletters if you choose to receive them from us. Typically we will send one email per week and you have the option to unsubscribe from our email newsletters at any time. We do not share your email address with anyone else.

The Run Snowdonia website is composed of a member's registered area and a public area in which to enable dissemination of the publically available information.

As a public visitor, you will not be required to provide any personal information. If you interact with the site e.g. via sharing a page that you like via social media in our 'Share / Like' section, we keep a record only of the action and not of your personal details.

Registered members will be asked to provide some limited personal information in order to enable the provision of certain services (e.g. to confirm their identity and allow allocation to the secure member's area). This information is stored electronically. By supplying this information you are consenting to Run Snowdonia holding and using it for the purposes for which it was provided. Information provided will be kept for as long as is necessary to fulfil that purpose.

Specific information we may collect as a registered website member:

  • Your name, email and country of residence are required.
  • Your full address, age, gender, weight, height and other statistics required to make calculations for services provided are voluntary and fully editable by you.
  • Records of your correspondence (if any) with us.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through the Site and of the fulfilment of your orders.
  • Details of your visits and interaction with the Site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data and other communication data.

We will only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected, to enable us to administer processes and provide membership services. We will retain your data for 7 years OR until the removal of the website.

#3Credit and debit card details

Please note that we do not collect or process your credit or debit card details. These are however collected and processed by our payment processing service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd (“Stripe”). The collection and processing by these providers of your credit or debit card details and other personal data are governed by their respective terms and conditions. Stripe may from time to time provide us with information regarding the credits and debits made to your card in order to enable us to reconcile our accounts.

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and statistical analysis. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
